General Information About Heroes
In the tutorial, you get basic heroes, e.g., Galahad, Astaroth, Thea, Phobos, and Aurora. You can obtain other heroes and their Soul Stones by opening the Heroic Chest, completing heroic missions, watching Boxy's videos, etc.
Heroes are automatically positioned on the battlefield based on their auto-attack range. You cannot manually adjust their positions.
Each hero belongs to a class. There are seven classes in the game:
1. Tanks have more health and are more resistant to damage than other roles. Tanks usually stand on the front lines to absorb more damage and protect their team members. Some of them have special skills that allow them to attract the opponent's attacks. The tanks are Aurora, Chabba, Mushy & Shroom, Luther, Julius, Corvus, Astaroth, Cleaver, Ziri, and Rufus.
2. Warriors specialize in dealing damage to the opponent in close combat. The warriors are Elmir, Yasmine, Galahad, Ishmael, Qing Mao, Tristan, K'arkh, Kayla, and Oya.
3. Marksmen deal physical damage from a distance. The marksmen are Isaac, Jhu, Dark Star, Artemis, Daredevil, Fox, Ginger, Astrid & Lucas, Keira, Dante, Lara Croft, and Cascade.
4. Mages deal magic damage from a distance. The mages are Kai, Mojo, Cornelius, Orion, Iris, Lilith, Lars, Xe'Sha, Heidi, Folio, and Satori.
5. Support heroes grant various bonuses to their allies: remove negative effects, give a shield, resurrect, etc. The support heroes are Alvanor, Fafnir, Helios, Sebastian, Jet, Nebula, Amira, Celeste, Krista, Soleil, Tempus, and Octavia.
6. Control heroes inflict control effects on the opponents to make them less effective. The control heroes are Phobos, Faceless, Arachne, Judge, Peppy, Lian, Jorgen, and Andvari.
7. Healers restore health to their allies during battles. The healers are Thea, Markus, Morrigan, Dorian, Aidan, Maya, and Martha.
Each hero in the game belongs to a specific faction. There are six factions in the game.
Each faction has heroes with special skills. These abilities grant certain bonuses to all characters from the same faction. For example, Corvus and Morrigan belong to the Way of Eternity faction. Thus, their skills give a boost to the Way of Eternity heroes.

What's the best team/hero?All characters in the game are unique. Each battle requires specific strategy and team composition. There is not a single team that can defeat them all. Try experimenting with different characters depending on your opponent.
-
Tower difficultyThe difficulty of the Tower depends on your team level that you can find under your avatar on the game's main screen. If your heroes are not upgraded up to that level, clearing the Tower might become a challenge.
-
My heroes don't get EXP in raidsWhen you raid a mission, your heroes do not obtain experience directly. Instead, acquired experience points are converted into EXP Potions that you can find in your Inventory and use to upgrade any hero of your choice.
-
Daily Bonus has reset, but I haven't collected all rewards!On the first day of each calendar month, the counter of the collected rewards is reset, and you start collecting rewards again from the first day of the month.
-
Letters disappeared from my mailbox!Letters are stored in your in-game mailbox for a limited amount of time, usually for three days. Afterward, any items they contain are permanently deleted. The expiration date is displayed at the bottom of the letter. Make sure to claim rewards as soon as they arrive in your mailbox. Our Support team cannot restore expired letters and rewards.
-
x2 rewards in DungeonYou get a double reward for clearing a Dungeon level for the first time: 50 Titan Potions, 2 Soul Stones, and 12 titanite: If you clear the level again, the reward is 25 Titan Potions, 1 Soul Stone, and 6 titanite:
-
My titans haven't resurrected in DungeonTitans resurrect with the Dungeon reset at the beginning of a game day, at 5:00 AM your in-game time zone. If your titans are still dead, then you have already explored the Dungeon today or changed the time zone recently. You will be able to proceed tomorrow.
-
I didn't get the Arena reward at 8 PMTo receive the reward, you need to attack at least once in Arena or Grand Arena before 8:00 PM your in-game time zone. Successful defenses do not count for issuing the reward.
-
I don't get Arena or Grand Arena Coins for a successful defenseEach day only the first five successful defenses grant Arena Coins, so you can receive up to 50 Coins. All further defenses are not rewarded. The same rule works for Grand Arena.
-
I've attacked a player and won, but my position in the Arena hasn't changedIf you have attacked a player and won, but your position in the Arena has not changed, it means that while you were choosing a target, they were attacked by another player and lost. Since their position became lower than yours, your ranking did not change.
-
I was attacked from a far-away position in Arena / Grand ArenaThere are two matchmaking ranges in Arena and Grand Arena: visible and hidden. The visible range includes player positions you can see in the list of suggested opponents. The hidden range is wider than the visible range. It ensures that opponents do not disappear while you are choosing an opponent or heroes to attack. Without this range, you would have to constantly look for a new opponent because positions in Arena and Grand Arena are dynamic and change quickly. Note: the hidden range allows you to attack an opponent even if they have changed their position while you were selecting your heroes. However, if the new position is outside both the visible and hidden range, you will have to look for a different opponent.
-
I've lost though my team has more power than my opponent'sSometimes a weaker team can defeat a stronger one. This situation can happen because of how energy accumulates: heroes get 1% energy, and titans – 0.5% for every 1% of the maximum health points lost. A weaker team takes more damage, thus accumulating energy faster. The quicker a character gets 1000 energy points, the sooner they can use their first skills. That is why the energy generation speed can directly affect the outcome of a battle. To avoid this situation, you can try upgrading your team even further or changing its composition.
-
I have a question regarding a specific battleIn this article, you can find answers to frequently asked questions about the combat system: how hero skills work, how energy generation affects battles, how team composition can play a crucial role in combat, and much more! If you still have questions regarding a specific battle, take the following steps to understand what is going on: Read the description of the abilities of each hero that participated in that battle. There are over 200 abilities in the game, and their interaction is usually the key. You can toggle the detailed descriptions of skills in the game settings: Check the active effects from the first artifacts. If damage is too high or too low, most likely, the heroes are under buffs. Artifacts affect the whole team, not only one hero: If a hero has chosen a different target than you expected, pay attention to the skills that can influence target selection. For example, Jorgen's Leper is one such skill. Check if your heroes are under any control effects. Try experimenting with hero combinations paying attention to strengths and weaknesses of both teams. Well-chosen heroes may sometimes defeat opponents even when outnumbered. If you still have not figured everything out, you can discuss the battle with the members of your Guild or ask other players for help on our official Discord server or Reddit.

I battled Hydra but didn't get my Elemental SphereYour personal activities, including daily quests, reset at 05:00 AM your in-game time zone, while Hydra battles reset at 02:00 AM UTC. If your in-game time zone is different from UTC, all Hydra battles fought between 02:00 AM UTC and 05:00 AM of your in-game time zone will not be counted in today's daily quests activity. To avoid this situation, you should not attack Hydra during this time period.

Some of the in-game items are missingOur system ensures that every in-game action is processed and validated by the game server. It guarantees that items do not disappear on their own and cannot be lost. If you cannot find a Golden Horn of Summoning, there are two possible scenarios: You did not open a Golden Horn Box. I created an item, but it disappearedOur system ensures that every in-game action is processed and validated by the game server. It guarantees that items do not disappear on their own and cannot be lost. If a piece of equipment is missing, there are three possible scenarios: You might have equipped this item with another hero. Items are not unique and can be used for various heroes. You might have sold this item sold for gold or exchanged it for activity points for your Guild. Guild and personal activity mismatchYour personal activities reset at 05:00 AM your in-game time zone, and Guild activities reset at 02:00 AM UTC. If your personal time zone is different from UTC, all activity and titanite earned between 02:00 AM UTC and 05:00 AM of your in-game time zone will not be counted in today's Guild activity. It is counted towards the Guild activities of the previous day. To avoid this situation, you should not collect activity or titanite and upgrade Glyphs during this time period.
-
What's the penalty for leaving a Guild?If you quit a Guild, you have to wait for 8 hours before joining a new one. You can spend 25 emeralds to skip the waiting time. If your Guild is in the Silver or Gold league, you will not be able to become a Champion until the end of the current week.

My Guild has no Guild War on SaturdayThe standard Guild War Season starts on Monday and ends on Friday. On Saturday, only transitional matches take place. In these matches, top Guilds from every league except for Gold fight against bottom Guilds from the higher leagues to promote to a higher league. If you do not have an opponent on Saturday, it means that you finished the week in the middle of your league.

I've won a fight in Arena but lost a battle against the same team in Guild WarArena and Guild War are two different game modes with their own features. Firstly, all battles in Arena are automatic, whereas in Guild War you can manually control your heroes and activate their first skills. Secondly, the animation of characters' first skills varies. In fully automatic battles, where manual combat is not available in any way (e.g., in Arena), first skills do not stop a fight. In manual combat, even with auto mode turned on (e.g., in Guild War), animations of the first skills stop a battle entirely. During this pause, skills can still damage opponents. Thus, the results in Arena and Guild War may vary.

I completed a task from the Free tab with a multiplier but got x1 emeralds insteadIf you have completed a task and received fewer emeralds than promised, there are three possible scenarios: You received the correct number of emeralds. When you select a task from the Free tab, the multiplier is already applied to the reward shown on the right side of the list. The multiplier offer had already expired when you selected the task. The multiplier offer appeared after you had selected the task.
-
I get different Free tasks than other playersAll tasks from the Free list are managed by a partner company, TapJoy. They are distributed based on an internal algorithm that takes into consideration a broad variety of data, such as your geolocation, device model, etc. Therefore, the number and type of available tasks may vary, you can contact the TapJoy team for further details.
-
I completed a secret mission but didn't get my rewardSecret mission posts always specify what mission you need to complete and when the task expires. Make sure that you have completed the right mission and that the task is still available. You have to complete the mission with at least one star to get the reward. You can either raid it or clear it manually. The reward is sent in a letter to your game mail. If the letter does not appear, try rebooting the game.
-
I can't get Cleaver or a supertitanCleaver and supertitans are unique and rare rewards. You have a certain chance to get a super prize every time you open а chest or sphere. Neither the number of chests/spheres opened nor their type (for emeralds or free ones) affects the result. The chance is the same for all players, so it is a matter of luck.
-
How to leave feedbackWe are always happy to get new ideas from our players! If you wish to leave feedback, open our chatbot, Raymond, and select Feedback.
To view the faction of a hero in the game:
-
Open Heroes.
-
Tap the chosen hero.
-
Go to the Stats tab.
You can find detailed information about a hero in their Stats tab. There you can learn about their background, position, main and secondary stats, and role. To open the Stats tab:
1. Tap the Heroes button.
2. Select the required hero.
3. Go to the Stats tab.
Hero level determines a hero's strength. The maximum hero level is 120.
Starting from team level 30, hero level cap depends on your current team level and cannot be higher than it.
To gain hero experience:
-
complete Campaign missions using heroes you wish to upgrade;
-
use EXP potions.
You can buy EXP potions at the Town Shop or receive them by raiding missions.
The higher the level, the more experience you need to raise it.
Each hero has four skills. You can manually activate only the first one. To do so, press the hero icon when it starts glowing and the energy bar is full.
The second, third, and fourth skills activate automatically according to their recharge period, i.e., cooldown time. It means you have to wait a certain amount of time before a hero can cast these skills again. You can learn the timings of skill casts by observing battles or by asking fellow players on our official Discord server.
The maximum level of the first and the second skills is 120, the third — 100, and the fourth — 80. To read the description of a skill, tap its name in the Skills tab.
To view the detailed skill description, go to Settings by pressing the gear button on the main game screen and switch the Complete Skill Info setting on.
To level up a skill, you need both Skill Points and gold. After you use Points, it takes time for them to restore: you get one Point every five minutes. You can get a maximum of 20 Skill Points this way.
Note
If the Exchange Shop pops up when you try to level up a skill, it means that you do not have enough gold for a level-up.
To get more points, tap the plus icon next to the Points counter.
You can receive Skill Points by:
-
Watching a video ad every eight hours. For each video, you get 10 Skill Points for free.
-
Spending emeralds.
-
Purchasing one-time offers that contain Skill Points.
Each bundle also includes gold and speeds up Skill Point restoration by 3 Points per hour. Without these bundles, you get 12 Points per hour — one every five minutes. Each bundle adds three Points, so you will get 15 Points — one Point every 4 minutes. If you buy both bundles, the bonuses will stack, so you will get 18 Points per hour — one Point every 3:20 minutes.
The offer containing 250 Skill Points also permanently increases Points auto-refill capacity from 20 to 30 Points.
Note
There is no limit to how many Skill Points you can get for watching videos or spending emeralds. Thus, you can have more than 20 Skill Points available at a time.
There are 15 ranks in the game: White, Green, Green +1, Blue, Blue +1, Blue +2, Violet, Violet +1, Violet +2, Violet +3, Orange, Orange +1, Orange +2, Orange +3, and Orange +4.
When you level up a hero's rank, you unlock skills and glyphs.
To upgrade your hero to the next rank, you need to collect and craft items. You gather items and their fragments by completing Campaign missions. The rarer the item, the lower its drop chance.
Star rank increases the hero's main stats. To level up your hero's star rank, you need gold and Soul Stones. The number of Soul Stones required for an upgrade:
-
1st star — 10 Soul Stones;
-
2nd star — 20 Soul Stones (or 30 Soul Stones if you summon the hero for the first time);
-
3rd star — 50 Soul Stones (or 80 Soul Stones if you summon the hero for the first time);
-
4th star — 100 Soul Stones;
-
5th star — 150 Soul Stones;
-
6th star — 300 Soul Stones.
You can earn Soul Stones by:
-
completing heroic missions;
-
opening Heroic Chests;
-
completing event tasks;
-
watching Boxy videos;
-
getting as a part of a bundle;
-
buying in one of the game Shops.
Note
Cleaver is one of the Heroic Chest's grand prizes; therefore, his drop rate is relatively low compared to other heroes. Once you get Cleaver, a message about it will appear in the server chat, and the Heroic Chest grand prize will change to either 50,000 Hero Soul Coins or one of the Skins+. Their drop chance is the same, and you can get either.
Skins increase hero stats and change their appearance. Each hero has a Default skin that boosts their main characteristic: strength, agility, or intelligence. Additional skins upgrade secondary stats. To level up a skin, you need to use Skin Stones.
Note
All skin bonuses stack no matter what skin is active at the moment. Equipping a skin only changes the appearance of a hero.
You can purchase skins with Skin Stones, buy them in the Skin Sale tab, or get them during special events.
Note
You can get some skins in the game only as a grand prize in the Outland. To get them, open Outland Chests. The skin drop chance is relatively low and the same for all players. It depends solely on luck, and the number of chests you open does not affect the result.
You can upgrade some skins even further, boosting their bonus by 100%. Such an upgrade is called Skin+. To level up a Skin+, you need to use Skin Stones.
You can distinguish a Skin+ from regular skins by a plus sign next to its name and a golden frame.
You can get a Skin+ only during special events. Developers may add other ways of getting these upgrades in the future.
Note
To get a certain Skin+, you need to have both a hero and an original skin. If you do not have the respective hero or skin, the button in the event shop will remain inactive.
For example, to get Mushy and Shroom's Lunar Skin+, you need to have Mushy and Shroom and their Lunar skin.
The appearance of regular skins and their upgraded versions differs as well. For example:
Therefore, there are two appearance options in the Visuals tab. However, only one bar with the provided bonus stat is displayed in the Stats tab, as each skin boosts only one stat:
Gift of the Elements allows you to upgrade three main stats of a hero. You can improve it with gold and Sparks of Power that you get for upgrading titans. At the maximum level, Gift of the Elements grants 720 bonus points to the hero's primary stat and 360 points to the other two stats.
