Arena
Arena is a PvP game mode available at team level 10.
Where to Find
You can find the Arena on the main game screen.
Arena Menu
In the Arena menu, you can select one of the three suggested opponents to battle:
If you do not want to battle any of them, you can tap Refresh.
Also, on this screen, you can view:
-
your current Arena ranking and daily reward,
-
number of available battles (you get five free battle attempts every day with the daily reset at 5:00 AM your in-game time zone).
After pressing Attack under the chosen opponent nickname, you can select your attacking team.
You can set your defense team in the Defense tab:
In the Journal tab, you can find information about your last battles, both in defense and offense:
Also, here, you can watch battle replays, share them with Guild members, and view the detailed battle statistics.
Battles
Battles in Arena last two minutes, just like in Campaign. If both teams are still alive at the end of the battle, the defense team wins.
Note
If you have attacked a player and won, but your position in the Arena has not changed, it means that while you were choosing a target, they were attacked by another player and lost. Since their position became lower than yours, your ranking did not change.
You can skip the battle replay by tapping the pause button in the upper-right corner and pressing Skip battle.
Note
All battles in Arena are automatic. You cannot control your heroes manually. When you press the To battle! button, the game server calculates the battle results. The battle you see is just the recording; it is not real-time.
Once the battle ends, you cannot attack again for one minute. However, you can use 50 emeralds to skip the waiting time. Also, if you have spent all five free battle attempts, you can use emeralds to purchase more. Each purchase grants you five additional attempts. The higher your VIP level, the more additional attempts you can buy.
Also, there are two matchmaking ranges in Arena: visible and hidden.
-
The visible range includes player positions you can see in the list of suggested opponents.
-
The hidden range is wider than the visible range. It ensures that opponents do not disappear while you are choosing an opponent or heroes to attack. Without this range, you would have to constantly look for a new opponent because positions in Arena are dynamic and change quickly.
Note
The hidden range allows you to attack an opponent even if they have changed their position while you were selecting your heroes. However, if the new position is outside both the visible and hidden range, you will have to look for a different opponent.
Reward Types
There are five types of rewards in Arena. All come to the in-game mail in a letter.
1. One-time ranking reward.
Each time you reach a new place in Arena, you receive emeralds.
Note
Your personal record does not reset if you change the server, and you cannot receive these rewards again.
2. Reward for reaching the top 1000, top 500, top 100, top 50, top 10, and top 1.
You receive EXP Potions, Arena Coins, and gold for reaching these rankings for the first time.
3. Daily reward.
At 8:00 PM your in-game time zone, you receive a daily reward according to your ranking. This reward includes EXP Potions, Arena Coins, gold, and emeralds.
Note
You get the reward only if you attack at least once during the day either in Arena or Grand Arena.
4. Rewards for successful attacks.
You receive 20 Arena Coins for each successful attack. They are added directly to your Inventory.
5. Rewards for successful defenses.
Every day you can get rewards for the first five successful defenses. You receive 10 Arena Coins per a successful defense, up to 50 Coins per day. They arrive in a letter in your in-game mailbox.
